Frequently asked questions
Each answer opens with the short version. These are the 12 questions people ask before they run a check or pick a plan.
Still have a question?
Write to us and a person answers.
Or skip the reading and look at your own score first. It is free and takes under a minute.
Use the form on the contact page or write to hello@zytet.com. A person reads it and replies. You do not have to write first, though: the first check is free and needs no account. If you want us to implement the points on your website, that is a separate add-on with a fixed price, and you accept or decline the quote before we touch anything.
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and Perplexity. Your customers use more than one of them, so we measure the layer they share. The same signals decide whether any of these engines can find and cite you: can the bot enter the site, can it read the content without JavaScript, is there structured data about the company, and are the answers written so a model can lift them. We measure all 28 checks once, and the result applies to every engine the check calls.
A Zytet subscription costs from $49 to $179 per month plus tax, and annual billing saves 33 %. It is an intro price you lock for 12 months at a time. Each plan covers a fixed number of websites, 1 on Start and 5 on Agency, and you can check them as often as you like within fair use. The report tells you what to change; you or your web developer do the work. Nobody sells a slot in ChatGPT, and that includes us.
No. Nobody can guarantee that ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and Perplexity will cite a given company, because the AI vendors pick their own sources and change their minds about them. What we can do is measure the factors that raise the odds of being cited and help you improve them. Those factors are the same across the engines. If a vendor promises you a guaranteed placement in ChatGPT, they are promising something they cannot deliver.
SEO works on your position in a list of search results. GEO works on being cited inside an AI-generated answer. Both need a technically sound website with clear content, but they weight the signals differently, so good SEO does not automatically give you good GEO. A page can rank first on Google and still be invisible in AI answers. That is why GEO needs its own measurement and its own priorities.
For a new brand, typically 8 to 16 weeks. That is an estimate, and we cannot guarantee it. The engines first have to discover the content, then come back often enough to trust it as a source. How long that takes depends on how often your site is crawled, how much competition there is on your topics, and whether other sites already mention your brand.
The subscription changes nothing. We have no access to your CMS, your server or your code, and we install nothing on your site. You get a prioritized fix manual, and you or your web developer make the changes at your own pace, on any platform. If you would rather we did it, the fix package is a separate add-on with a fixed price that you accept or decline before we start.
A subscription covers a fixed number of websites: Start covers 1 website, Growth covers 3, and Agency covers 5. No plan caps the number of inner pages. The checks cost nothing extra. You can score your registered websites as often as fair use allows, which is 10 score analyses per website per day, and each website also gets 4 AI visibility checks a month, one a week, on all three plans. The plans differ in how many prompts a visibility check runs: 10 on Start, 12 on Growth and 15 on Agency. Your first check registers the domain on a free slot automatically.
The score is a weighted result of 28 checks across 6 categories. Each check awards points against fixed, documented criteria, and no language model is involved in the judgement, so the same page gets the same score until the page changes. The weights follow the consensus of established GEO scoring models and peer-reviewed research. The report shows you every criterion and weight.
Yes, as little as we can. We store your account email, the URLs you check and the result of each check. IP addresses are stored as a salted SHA-256 hash, never in clear text. We keep data for 24 months by default. The privacy policy has the detail.
Yes, at any time. The public free check does not ask for an email. In the portal you can attach an email to a score check, and a delete link with a unique token is shown once on screen so you can remove that check yourself. If you want the account and everything tied to it deleted, write to hello@zytet.com, and we delete it within 30 days.
Ulrik, a software and AI engineer, founded Zytet in 2026 and still runs it. The tool grew out of the GEO audit method we use on our own client work, and we run it on this site as well. You can reach us at hello@zytet.com. The founder reads the mail.
