What is GEO?
GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is the work of making a website fit to be found and cited in AI-generated answers. Zytet measures that with a score from 0 to 100 and a prioritized fix manual. SEO competes for a place on a list of links; GEO competes to be one of the sources ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and Perplexity build their answer on.
Meaning
What GEO actually is
When a customer asks an AI engine a question, they get one combined answer with a handful of sources instead of ten blue links. GEO is the work that makes your company one of those sources. You cannot buy the spot from the engine, and it takes more than renaming your SEO work.
The basics overlap with SEO: the page must be fetchable, it must have a clear topic, and it must say who is behind it. GEO then adds its own questions. Can a bot read the text without running JavaScript? Does the structured data say who you are? Can a sentence be lifted straight into an answer without rewriting?
The tool
What Zytet does with that
Zytet runs 28 checks across 6 categories and rolls them into one GEO score. The criteria are fixed and no AI is involved in the judgement, so the same page scores the same until it changes. You see whether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok and Perplexity can even get into the site, and what has to change.
A subscription costs from $49 per month plus tax, and the first check is free with no account. Zytet never changes anything on your website. If you want us to implement the points, that is a separate add-on with a fixed price.

Questions
No. AI SEO is a loose label that often just means writing for ChatGPT. GEO is narrower: make the page readable for AI crawlers, citable in the answer, and measurable with a score. Zytet sells that last part.
