llms.txt
What is llms.txt?
llms.txt is an ordinary text file in the root of a website, written so a language model can read who you are, what you do, and which pages matter. Zytet measures whether a customer's site has a readable entry of that kind. The file does not replace a citable homepage.
Purpose
Why the file exists
A model that only fetches the homepage can land on a campaign and an animation. An llms.txt gives it the short, factual overview instead: name, offer, prices, contact. A good file therefore opens with the sentence you would like to be cited for.
The file has to be true. A number in llms.txt that does not match the pricing page is exactly the pattern we test against, so only write what you can stand behind.
Limit
What the file does not do
It does not earn you a place in an AI answer. It helps the crawler or agent that actively fetches it. If the homepage is empty for the bot, a file in the root will not save you on its own.
Zytet does not sell a generator that produces a made-up llms.txt. We show whether the file exists, whether it can be read, and whether it contradicts what the rest of the site says.

Questions
No. robots.txt governs what a bot may fetch. llms.txt is content, an explanation written for models. You need both in order, and they must not contradict each other.
